This works very well when reheating leftovers and defrosting frozen food. My large dinner plates and soup bowls fit perfectly in the base. The cover can also be used for cleaning and rinsing foods as the water will drain. The bottom can also be used as a serving plate.

I’ve had a collapsible microwave splatter cover before, but this one comes with a base that makes cleaning and convenience a breeze. The base also has a handle for safely removing your heated food from the microwave. I love that the base and lid can also be used as a fruit plate or a strainer, respectively. The collapsible cover can be extended to accommodate dishes with high-stacked food or pressed down flat for storage. The cover looks nice and feels durable. I highly recommend it.

This microwave food cover works pretty well. You basically just place your plate on the base and then cover the plate and then microwave. The base has nice handles to prevent scalding. The cover is nice, too because it has vents which allows for the release of hit. The cover also doubles as a colander so that you can wash and drain vegetables. You can also place the cover on top of your food to keep it warm.

I was needing an extra microwave cover and liked this one since it's collapsible. What I didn't realize I'd like even more is the base for it. Now I don't have to put stuff on a plate in there, I put it on this base, cover it up and pull the whole thing out. Then if something spills/overflows, it's contained on that base. This is a brilliant design!
