Automated for easy, confident home canning, the Presto Precise® 17-quart digital canner features an innovative sensor that holds the exact processing temperature required for safe home canning with no adjustments necessary, even when pressure canning at high altitudes. Its extra-tall size holds quart jars for both pressure and boiling water canning. Use the digital interface to select the canning method and processing time. A built-in timer ensures accurate, reliable timing. LED display icons illuminate and guide you through each step of the canning method. The canner preheats the jars then holds them at the proper temperature until all jars are filled and ready for processing. To simplify the boiling water method, the temperature sensor detects the boiling point and automatically activates the canning process to safely can high-acid foods. The digital canner also holds heat inside, keeping your kitchen cooler while canning. When finished, the PFAS-free ceramic-coated pot is removable for easy cleaning. Included with the canner are a stainless steel canning rack, an instruction/recipe book that uses standard processing times in accordance with USDA guidelines, and an easy-to-reference quickstart guide. Items should be unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging when possible. For hygiene and safety reasons, opened food, used grooming products, and heavily used pet items may not be eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective.
