Product description
The use of the lid is versatile, including steaming food, melting cheese on a grilled burger or just to keep things warm. The see through glass on top ensures you can see what is going on without taking the lid off and letting steam escape. Please remember to buy a dome lid that is slightly smaller than your wok diameter.
This lid is made of a nice brushed finish stainless steel and tempered glass for a good view to the inside of the wok. It’s an ideal cover for your wok if you would like a stainless-steel lid with a glass top.
The tempered glass could be very useful because it allows you to monitor your food. The viewing window on the lid is helpful to see what's going on inside without needing to lift the lid.
The little vents on the side allow a good amount of steam to come out of the pot while cooking. Works perfectly with wok to steam dishes.
It comes with a handle that you need to screw on yourself, but it is easy to assemble. Check if all accessories are complete: two nuts, two screws with washers, and one handle.
Extend the screws with washers through the mounting holes from the inside of the glass cover (washers remain inside the glass cover).
Secure the handle with the screws, then install the nuts. Tighten the screws using a cross-head screwdriver. (Do not apply excessive force when tightening, as this may cause glass cracking).
The glass window of the lid allows you to visually see food being cooked without having to remove the cover. It is lightweight and can withstand high heat. Very durable and easy to clean.
The 4.5” height (not including the handle) allows you to steam veggies and dumplings without the top touching the food. Glass top allows you to see inside without lifting the cover.
