Hawkins Stainless 1.5 Liter Easy Pour Saucepan features a tapered easy pour spout that is perfect for pouring hot Tea, soups or sauces. Works on Induction, Gas and Electric stoves. Extra thick base heats evenly. Comes with a Glass lid. According to "UL" standards or any other standards used around the world the capacity of the item is the Total Volume Capacity of the Cooker with the lid. The boiled water leaves a residue on the bottom of the pan: Stainless steel may develop stains caused by salts/minerals in the water. The cleaning instruction is given In the user manual. The lid keeps popping off the pot. The lid is meant to keep on while cooking. Induction cooktop: Induction cooktops initially heat up faster than gas and electric stoves and the times normally required for initial heating of oil/butter may need to reduce.
